Jakarta, February 17, 2023-ICDX Group, together with BAPPEBTI and Aspakrindo, held a webinar entitled "Modern Crypto Asset Trading Ecosystem" within the framework of Crypto Literacy Month. Based on data from the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (BAPPEBTI), the total number of crypto asset customers in Indonesia has reached 16.7 million people with a transaction value of IDR 12.1 trillion as of January 2023. This certainly further encourages the urgency of better crypto asset management.

"Our focus is on protecting the community through strengthening digital literacy related to crypto assets. We are prioritizing two things, legal, specifically having permission from the authorities, and logical, specifically the benefits offered are reasonable" said Mr. Didid Noordiatmoko as Plt. Head of BAPPEBTI.

"Custodians that will oversee crypto asset trading must comply with a series of stricter regulations, including keeping funds in separate accounts, not mixed with their own funds or those of other organizations" said Mr. Teguh K. Harmanda as Chairman of Aspakrindo.

"All institutional roles that exist in the modern crypto asset trading ecosystem, including exchanges, clearing institutions, and custodians, are very important to avoid risks and maintain customer security" said Mr. Yudhistira Mercianto as VP Risk Management, Group Controller, and Clearing of Indonesia Clearing House.
