On Monday, 10th of July 2017, ICDX held a press conference regarding some important topics to talk about to the media around the country. The press conference took place at Pullman Hotel, Jakarta and scheduled to start at 10.00 AM.
Lamon Rutten (President Director of ICDX), BachrulChairi (Chief of COFTRA), Dorothea Sigit (Head of Bonded Warehouses Division, Director General of Customs and Excise), Henry Chandra (president Director of ILB) are the spokepersons and Eddy Purba is the moderator at the press conference. The event started with Eddy Purba introduced the representatives followed by a discussion about the topics that have been planned.
Both local and international media were present to capture the moment Lamon Rutten is formally introduced as the President Director of ICDX, as well as to be part of the discussion on the growth of Indonesian Tin Industry with the latest release of the ‘Perdirjen’ number 10 regarding Bonded Warehouses. Big names such as Kompas, Bisnis Indonesia, Kontan, Bloomberg, Investor Daily, Reuters, and twenty other medias filled ICDX’s guest book in this Press Conference.
Indonesia Tin Conference and Exhibition 2017 (ITCE) is one of the main topics at the press conference. It was announced that ITCE 2017 will take place at Bali on 27th-29th of August 2017. ICDX also gave informations and details about ICDX LogistikBerikat (ILB) and planned to be fully operated on August 2017. Apart from the topics above, ICDX also announced that there will be an article competition for journalists around the country with prizes worth millions of rupiah.
Shortly after the press conference, at the same location ICDX held a Halal Bi Halal in order to maintain a warm relationship among the guests. To start the wonderful event, PencakSilat NU Pagar Nusa gave an amazing performance to the audience.
President Director of ICDX, Lamon Rutten addressed a welcoming speech while the guests enjoyed the gathering. Prof. Dr. KH. Said Aqil Siroj, MA also gave his welcoming speech and a heartwarming tausyiah to the guests. After series of events, the gathering and meeting concluded with ICDX gave 50 millions rupiah donation to PondokPesantren Al-Tsaqafah.
