ICDX Campus Roadshow: Get to Know More about Commodity Future Trading with ICDX
Wednesday, 06 April 2022

The Commodity Futures Trading Industry (PBK) continues to show growth. In the 2021 period, BAPPEBTI, the Ministry of Trade recorded that the total of PBK transactions in the country reached 14.5 million lots, which was an increase of 10.3% from the previous year, 2020, which was 13.2 million lots. The high number of the Commodity Futures Trading transactions must be accompanied by good literacy and education, so that the industry is increasingly known and well understood by the wider community, especially the younger generation which are millennials and Gen Z .

Along with technological advances, the Commodity Futures Trading industry is also trying to adapt so that trading activities are in line with the times. As a generation born in the era of technological transition, millennials and Gen Z benefits from the convenience provided by technology to carry out daily activities, even to manage finances.

This technology support paved the way for millennials and Gen Z to manage finances and seize opportunities through various investment instruments. The Commodity Futures Trading can be an option for millennials and Gen Z to manage and develop their portfolios. As an exchange, ICDX plays an active role in introducing the Commodity Futures Trading industry by providing education in the form of learning videos that can be accessed freely and for free on the ICDX Academy page.

ICDX actively introduce the PBK Industry to fellow students by holding the ICDX Campus Roadshow with the BEM of the Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) Business School which was held on Wednesday, April 6th, 2022 with the theme “Get to Know More about Commodity Future Trading with ICDX"

The event was attended by Head of Market Development Bureau, BAPPEBTI, Ministry of Trade, Tirta Karma Senjaya; Head of Learning Center ICDX, Anang E. Wicaksono; and Business Development Manager ICDX, Dedi Prasetyo.

For those who didn't have time to attend, here's a snippet of the event.
